Nickel Alloy 625 Superalloy – UNS N06625 Bar, Sheet, Pipe, Strip & Custom Forgings

Nickel Alloy 625 (UNS N06625 / 2.4856 / NiCr22Mo9Nb) is a solid-solution-strengthened nickel-chromium-molybdenum superalloy known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength, and good fabricability. Unlike many superalloys, Alloy 625 does not require precipitation hardening to achieve its mechanical properties, making it a versatile choice for demanding applications across aerospace, marine, chemical processing, oil & gas, and power generation industries.

As a leading nickel alloy 625 manufacturer and supplier, ZYTC Alloy offers this premium alloy in a comprehensive range of product forms – bars, sheets, plates, pipes, tubes, forgings, and custom sizes. Every shipment is fully traceable, documented, and compliant with international standards including ASTM, AMS, ASME, and NACE.

Key Features:

  • ✅ Solid-solution strengthened – no age hardening required

  • ✅ Outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking

  • ✅ Excellent oxidation resistance up to 1,050°C

  • ✅ High creep-rupture strength from cryogenic to elevated temperatures

  • ✅ Good fabricability and weldability

  • ✅ Fatigue and thermal fatigue resistance

  • ✅ Maintains dimensional stability under thermal cycling

Material Considerations:

  • Higher cost than standard stainless steels – but offers superior corrosion resistance and temperature capability

  • Machining requires appropriate tooling, particularly when work-hardened

  • Creep resistance suitable for long-term exposure up to ~980°C
