AMS 5580 covers Alloy 600 (UNS N06600 / 2.4816 ) seamless tubing up to 9.250″ OD in annealed condition. This nickel-chromium-iron alloy offers good oxidation resistance up to 1093°C, resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking, and excellent caustic corrosion resistance.
