ZYTC Alloy is an ISO 9001 and AS 9120B certified superalloy manufacturer and supplier, offering AMS 5532J Multimet N155 sheet at factory-direct prices with full material traceability and fast global delivery.

AMS 5532J specification covers a corrosion- and heat-resistant iron alloy (Multimet N155 / UNS R30155) in the form of sheet, strip, and plate. Multimet N155 is a nickel-chromium-cobalt-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and tungsten. Its high-temperature properties are inherent in the as-supplied condition (solution treated at 1177°C / 2150°F) and are not dependent on age-hardening. The alloy is typically used in parts requiring high strength up to 732°C (1350°F) and oxidation resistance up to 982°C (1800°F).

Fabrication & Material Comparison

  • Solution Annealing: 1177°C (2150°F), water quench

  • Hot Working: 1093-1205°C (2000-2200°F); reheat as necessary

  • Cold Working: Good formability in annealed condition

  • Machining: Good machinability; requires sharp tools and adequate coolant

  • Welding: Good weldability using GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG); matching filler metal (AMS 5794) recommended
