3. Fabrication & Material ComparisonHeat Treatment: Does not respond to precipitation hardening. Used in solution-annealed condition for optimal properties. Standard annealing at 1185°C (2165°F) for 15 minutes followed by rapid water quenching ensures homogeneous microstructure Welding Capabilities: Weldable using GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, and SMAW methods. Specifically formulated for excellent weldability when joining dissimilar alloys. Preferred filler metal for many high-temperature superalloy combinations Forming Characteristics: Good formability in solution-annealed condition.
