Fabrication Solution Annealing: 1066-1177°C (1950-2150°F), water quench or rapid air cool; relieves cold work stresses . Hot Working: 1010-1232°C (1850-2250°F); reheat as necessary; avoid working below 1010°C . Cold Working: Good formability; can be cold formed, bent, and shaped . Machining: Good machinability; requires sharp tools and adequate lubrication; work-hardening rate moderate . Welding: Excellent weldability using GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and resistance welding; matching filler metal (ERNiCrCoMo-1) recommended .
