Fabrication Annealing: 954-1038°C (1750-1900°F), water quench or rapid air cool; supplied in this condition . Hot Working: 954-1205°C (1750-2200°F); reheat as necessary . Cold Working: Good formability; can be cold rolled, bent, and stamped . Machining: Good machinability; requires sharp tools and adequate lubrication; work-hardening rate moderate . Welding: Excellent weldability using GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and resistance welding; matching filler metal (ERNiCrMo-3) recommended .
