Fabrication Solution Annealing: 982-1038°C (1800-1900°F) × appropriate time, rapid quench Hot Working: 1093-1232°C (2000-2250°F); reheat as necessary Cold Working: Good formability; can be cold drawn, rolled, and shaped Machining: Good machinability; similar to austenitic stainless steels; requires sharp tools and adequate lubrication Welding: Excellent weldability using GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and SMAW; matching filler metal (ERNiCr-3 or ERNiFeCr-1) recommended
