ZYTC Alloy is an ISO 9001 and AS 9120B certified superalloy manufacturer and supplier, offering Alloy 617 sheet and strip stock compliant with AMS 5889 standards. Available at factory-direct prices with fast delivery. AMS 5889 specification covers a corrosion- and heat-resistant nickel alloy (Alloy 617 / UNS N06617) in the form of sheet and strip. This material is provided in Consumable Electrode (CE) as well as Vacuum Induction Melted (VIM) forms and is furnished in the annealed state. Alloy 617 is a solid-solution strengthened Ni-Cr-Co-Mo alloy offering exceptional high-temperature strength, outstanding creep properties, and excellent oxidation resistance. It also provides good resistance to high-temperature carburizing and nitriding environments. This solid solution alloy maintains its mechanical stability and does not deteriorate from corrosion even at temperatures over 982°C (1800°F).
