UNS S32760 is a tungsten and copper-alloyed super duplex stainless steel offering enhanced corrosion resistance compared to standard 25Cr super duplex grades. With additions of tungsten (0.5-1.0%) and copper (0.5-1.0%), it achieves a PRE (Pitting Resistance Equivalent) ≥ 40 while providing excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion in seawater and sour service environments. This grade combines high mechanical strength (yield strength ≥ 550 MPa) with good ductility and sub-zero toughness down to -50°C, making it the preferred material for subsea pipework, desalination plants, and high-pressure oil & gas equipment .
