The Inconel® X-750 bar or forging refers to the precipitation-hardening nickel alloy bar or forging manufactured to ASTM B637 UNS N07750 (W. Nr. 2.4669) . It should be either hot worked or cold worked and is primarily used for high-temperature service. INCONEL® alloy X-750 (UNS N07750 / W. Nr. 2.4669) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy used for its corrosion and oxidation resistance and high strength at temperatures to 1300°F (704°C) . Although much of the effect of precipitation hardening is lost with increasing temperature over 1300°F, heat-treated material has useful strength up to 1800°F (982°C) . Alloy X-750 also has excellent properties down to cryogenic temperatures. ZYTC Alloy is an ISO 9001 and AS 9120B certified superalloy manufacturer and supplier, offering Inconel X-750 bar and forging at factory-direct prices with full material traceability and fast global delivery.

Operating Conditions & Selection CriteriaInconel® X-750 bar and forgings are specified when designers require a nickel-chromium precipitation-hardenable alloy with good corrosion and oxidation resistance, high strength up to 704°C (1300°F), and useful strength up to 982°C (1800°F). Service Temperature Range: High strength up to 704°C (1300°F); useful strength retained up to 982°C (1800°F); excellent properties down to cryogenic temperatures Strengthening Mechanism: Precipitation-hardened by gamma-prime phase [Ni₃(Al,Ti)] during aging; niobium addition enhances high-temperature stability Corrosion & Oxidation Resistance: Good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in high-temperature environments Relaxation Resistance: Excellent resistance to stress relaxation — ideal for spring applications up to 649°C (1200°F) Economics: Coupled with availability in all standard mill forms, resulting in applications across a wide variety of industrial fields Cryogenic Performance: Maintains excellent properties down to cryogenic temperatures Fabricability: Good machinability and weldability; suitable for forging and forming
ApplicationsGas Turbines: Rotor blades, wheels, bolts, structural members, turbine discs Rocket Engines: Thrust chambers, injector components, nozzle hardware Airframe: Thrust reversers, hot-air ducting systems Pressure Vessels: Large pressure vessels formed from Inconel X-750 Industrial Tooling: Heat-treating fixtures, forming tools, extrusion dies, test machine grips Springs & Fasteners: Used from sub-zero to 649°C (1200°F) for springs and fasteners Nuclear: Reactor core components, control rod mechanisms Chemical Processing: High-temperature process equipment
