AMS 5842 specification covers a high-strength, corrosion- and heat-resistant cobalt-chromium-nickel alloy in the form of bars. MP159 (UNS R30159) is an ultra‑high‑strength nickel‑cobalt multiphase alloy capable of achieving more than 265 ksi (1,830 MPa) tensile strength while still maintaining good ductility, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It is produced using vacuum induction melting (VIM) followed by vacuum arc remelting (VAR) to ensure purity and consistent microstructure. This alloy performs reliably up to about 1100–1200°F (593–649°C) and is used in aerospace, medical, energy, and marine environments. ZYTC Alloy is an ISO 9001 and AS 9120B certified superalloy manufacturer and supplier, offering AMS 5842 MP159 work-strengthened bars at factory-direct prices with full material traceability and fast global delivery.
