Superior Through-Thickness Toughness: Designed for greater toughness than 17-4 PH, especially in the short transverse direction — critical for thick plate applications Service Temperature Range: Excellent properties from cryogenic temperatures up to 315°C (600°F) Strengthening Mechanism: Age-hardened through precipitation of copper-rich phases during single low-temperature heat treatment Corrosion Resistance: Moderate to good corrosion resistance; comparable to 304 stainless in many environments Fabricability: Good formability in solution annealed condition; readily weldable using standard methods NACE Compliance: H1150 condition meets NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for sour gas service
