AMS 4911 Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is the most widely used alpha-beta two-phase titanium alloy, specially manufactured and certified to strict aerospace-grade AMS 4911 specifications. Covering premium sheet and plate products, this high-performance titanium alloy balances exceptional strength, lightweight properties, reliable temperature stability and superior corrosion resistance. It serves as a universal core material for aerospace, medical, chemical and energy industrial applications.

Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy is typically supplied in a fully annealed state, supporting stable long-term service at operating temperatures up to 400°C (750°F). To ensure ultra-high material purity and uniform microstructure, the alloy adopts advanced multi-stage smelting processes, including Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR), Electron Beam (EB) melting and Plasma Arc Hearth Melting (PAM), with optional one or two-time secondary VAR remelting to eliminate internal defects.
