This standard covers corrosion-resistant steel products in the form of sheet, strip and plate, making them suitable for applications that require good formability, excellent surface finish and consistent resistance to oxidation and atmospheric corrosion.

At its core, AMS5513L 304 stainless steel offers a balanced chemical composition of approximately 19% chromium and 9.2% nickel, which contributes to its strong corrosion resistance, good high-temperature performance and reliable mechanical properties.
