ZYTC Alloy, a reliable Chinese supplier of aerospace‑quality cold‑rolled stainless steel, provides premium AMS 5901 301 stainless steel sheet, strip and plate. Governed by SAE AMS 5901 specification, UNS S30100 is a metastable austenitic stainless steel well‑known for remarkable strength‑gain through cold working, excellent ductility, good weldability and forming performance. It is widely selected for aerospace structural components, transportation hardware and architectural parts requiring high mechanical strength from cold rolling. 301 stainless steel achieves different strength levels purely by cold rolling instead of heat treatment. ZYTC Alloy supplies full range of tempers including Annealed, 1/4 Hard, 1/2 Hard, 3/4 Hard and Full Hard grades to match different forming and load‑bearing requirements. | |

Corrosion & Oxidation Performance301 stainless steel delivers good oxidation resistance up to 1550 °F and is not recommended for continuous service above 1600 °F. It offers acceptable performance against many corrosive media. Its overall corrosion resistance is inferior to conventional 18‑8 grades such as 304 and 304L. Carbide precipitation may occur during welding, which can increase susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. For heavily corrosive working environments, 304L or other low‑carbon stainless alloys should be considered as alternative options. Annealed‑grade 301 is preferred for deep‑draw and shallow‑draw forming operations. Higher‑hardness tempers deliver elevated strength with progressively reduced ductility.
